Excellent stay - the building is fascinating and spotless, the staff friendly, the food fine and generous, and despite its proximity to the city center, the place is wonderfully quiet. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Ghent.

Old church/monastery, can be a bit spooky at first glance since it's so quiet and we barely crossed paths with anyone, but it is so beautiful and special! Very clean, very well appointed, everything that you need available, and perfectly located, just a couple of minutes walk to historic center.

Fantastically pleasant location, right in the centre of Ghent, yet very quiet. Superb beds, excellent bathroom, lovely full breakfast. Parking around the corner. Free (good!) coffee and tea on the ground floor, 24 hours a day, so not needed in the room. Breakfast was constantly replenished by friendly staff during our 4-day stay. The place is very safe.

This place is peaceful, and nice and close to the city centre. Easy to walk, max 10 minutes. Also tram stop almost in front of the door. And parking is good to do. Paid but at a good price. Breakfast was delicious and constantly replenished. And the room was clean and large. No television in the room, but we didn't need one.

Fine hotel. Sober (no TV) but neat room. But with a beautiful view over the inner garden. Everything important for a hotel room was well done: a good bed and a lovely shower. Private parking next to the hotel. Highly recommended!

A real haven of peace in the centre of Ghent. Staying and spending the night in a partially active hermit monastery: peace and quiet. The rooms are spacious, the beds thick and fine! In the spirit of monastic life, no TV or other frills. On the other hand, a great ambiance, really a place to unwind

Good and quiet accommodation perfectly located within walking distance from the most beautiful spots in Ghent. Did ask to have airco turned on at check-in. Otherwise a very hot and stuffy room and you can open the windows... but be prepared to be completely stung by lots of mosquitoes...

Lovely quiet, spacious rooms with nice, clean bathroom with spacious shower. Great location a few minutes' walk from the castle, shops and terraces. The fact that the rooms are in the monastery does have something extra.

The Rustpunt is an ideal location and within walking distance of the bustling centre of Ghent. Spacious somewhat austere room with a nicely renovated bathroom. Well-kept breakfast. Wonderfully quiet and (for a fee) good parking.

We stayed at the 'Kluis'. A small palace with lots of privacy. Very cosy and contemporary. Next year again!
